Meet Our Dental Team

Dr. John Olson has been proudly serving the Huntington Beach community for more than 40 years, providing exceptional care in cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, restorative dentistry, and orthodontics.

Dr. Olson earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the USC School of Dentistry in 1974. In 1983 he became a Straightwire Orthodontics Graduate, and since 2006 he has offered patients ClearCorrect invisible aligners.

Known among his patients as a true “tooth carpenter,” Dr. Olson brings an artisan’s attention to detail to every procedure — ensuring treatments that blend artistry and clinical skill for long-lasting results.

Outside the office, Dr. Olson is married to his wife Arleen and enjoys golf, downhill skiing, waterskiing, and woodworking.

Mary helps patients thoroughly review and process insurance claims, acting as a trusted guide through the insurance system. One of the newest members of Dr. Olson’s team, she brings warmth and efficiency to every interaction. Outside the office she enjoys running at the beach, working out, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Donna began her dental career in high school as a periodontal assistant and continued through college, where she earned a BA in Fine Arts and Art History. After graduation she completed her RDA credential and has remained active in dentistry ever since. Her artistic background and clinical experience combine to create a uniquely attentive chairside manner.

Shelly has been with Dr. Olson since 1989 and takes special care in making every patient comfortable during hygiene appointments. Her decades of experience are a true asset to the practice. She loves spending time with her teenage daughter Abigail and son Alexander and is an avid animal lover with two cats and a dog.

Lori is a USC graduate who has worked as a periodontal hygienist throughout her career. Her goal is to help patients achieve optimal oral health in a way that supports overall wellness. Outside the office she enjoys time with her husband and three kids, two dogs, and volunteers in the Huntington Beach community.

Delilah joined Dr. Olson’s practice over 15 years ago and loves taking exceptional care of patients. A devoted “super-auntie” to her six nieces and nephews, she also enjoys making jewelry, reading history and biography books, and baking.
