Meet Dr. John Olson, Huntington Beach Dentist

John Olson, D.D.S., has been proudly serving the Huntington Beach community for more than 40 years, providing exceptional care in cosmetic dentistry, family dentistry, restorative dentistry, and orthodontics.

Dr. Olson earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the USC School of Dentistry in 1974. In 1983 he became a Straightwire Orthodontics Graduate. Since 2006 he has offered patients ClearCorrect invisible aligners.

Known among his patients as a true "tooth carpenter," Dr. Olson takes pride in his attention to detail and hands-on approach. His comprehensive perspective allows him to customize treatments that blend both artistry and skill, ensuring long-lasting results for every patient.

A Life Rooted in Family & Community

Married to his wife Arleen for more than 50 years, Dr. Olson values family above all else. Together they enjoy spending time with their children, Kristen and John Jr., and their beloved grandchildren.

When he's not at the dental office, Dr. Olson enjoys golfing (Pebble Beach is a favorite), downhill skiing in Sun Valley, waterskiing, and woodworking — from small detailed pieces to large-scale cabinetry.
